Choosing the right welding extruder depends on several factors. First of all, the material to be processed is decisive – i.e. whether you are working with PP, PE, PVDF or even special materials such as PFA. The wall thickness of the workpiece also plays a role in the required welding performance.

Another important point is the requirements of your application: Is particularly high strength or chemical resistance required – for example in tank construction for aggressive media – or is it more for applications with lower loads, such as in pool or pipeline construction?

The type of application is also relevant: For continuous operation and industrial processes, we recommend our brushless models with a particularly long service life. For less intensive or occasional use, a classic model with a brushed drive is often perfectly adequate.

Our extruders are suitable for all common thermoplastics used in plastic construction or sealing technology – including PE, PP, PVDF, PVC-C and – in special versions – also high-performance plastics such as PFA or ECTFE. The selection of the right device depends on the base material and welding rod or granulate used.

For long-term reliable operation, we recommend regular maintenance and calibration. Our devices are built to last – but as with any tool, good maintenance pays off. Regular inspection is particularly useful for frequent use and in demanding environments. For regular use, we recommend annual maintenance. Our service team will support you quickly and easily.
