Last week Philipp and our partner GF Piping Systems Norge had the opportunity to visit a very interesting application area for plastic welding!
\nAt ScaleAQ, we gained insight into their impressive operations and plans for shaping the future of the aquaculture industry – from the scale of production to the precision of their plastic manufacturing. Many thanks to the ScaleAQ team for the warm welcome and the valuable insights!<\/p>\n

During our visit, we came across a familiar issue: fine PE dust caused by frequent milling in the workshop… What can happen?<\/p>\n

\ud83c\udf00 The dust is sucked into the extruder’s fan units.
\n\ud83d\udd25 It melts in the heating elements.
\n\ud83d\udeab The airflow is partially blocked, overheating occurs – and sometimes the entire fan system even fails, causing repair work and costs.<\/p>\n

But there is a remedy: our new MAX extruders are equipped with replaceable air intake filters that catch the dust before it can cause any damage.<\/p>\n

\n\u2714 Protects the heater and electronics
\n\u2714 Significantly extends the service life of the fan<\/p>\n

Sometimes it’s just a small detail – but one that can make a big difference in harsh workshop conditions.<\/p>\n
